No. The 40880 is a boil-only kettle without selectable temperature settings.

Does it keep water hot automatically?

No. It shuts off after boiling and has no keep-warm function.

Is it cordless?

The kettle lifts off its corded power base for pouring; heating requires the base.

Can I heat milk or brew tea inside it?

No. The official manual specifies heating water only and states that other liquids or food void the warranty.

Can I immerse it for cleaning?

No. The manual prohibits immersing the kettle, power base or plug. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
