Our verdict

The Mercury makes sense for buyers who want a triple-fan RX 9060 XT 16GB with lighting and two DisplayPort outputs. Its substantial dimensions are the main trade-off; compare its price with smaller cards using the same GPU rather than assuming the larger cooler guarantees a major performance advantage.

Pros

  • +16GB GDDR6 memory and factory-overclocked specifications.
  • +Triple-fan cooling with PTM7950 thermal interface material.
  • +Two native DisplayPort outputs are useful for dual-DisplayPort setups.

Cons

  • −The 320 mm length and 53 mm thickness limit compact-case compatibility.
  • −Only one HDMI output; direct dual-HDMI setups need a different connection arrangement.
